“Simply Beautiful” Website Redesign Complete

Ball Horticultural Company’s recently redesigned website, Simply Beautiful, is now live.

Highlights of the website include an improved shopping list feature that allows visitors to create customized plant lists of products along with information about local garden centers that sell those varieties; a revamped container gardening section that aims to inspire consumers with easy-to-understand diagrams; and listings of plants to use in containers and a gardening tips section that is updated with seasonal information.

The website was developed to serve as a great gardening resource for consumers.

“The redesigned Simply Beautiful site is an excellent portal for home gardeners of all skill levels,” said Bill Calkins, business manager for independent garden centers for Ball.

Currently, 18,000 consumers receive the quarterly Simply Beautiful e-newsletter, which features inspirational topics such as the newest varieties, plants that offer the best garden performance and planting information for all types of gardeners.

“In addition to gathering information before going to the store, today’s consumer often visits the web for additional product information after making a purchase, Calkins said. “This site is referenced on every piece of in-store marketing, from Simply Beautiful pots and tags to bench cards, bench tape and vertical signs.”
