2012 California Spring Trials Dates Proposed
Recently a steering committee was put together for the purpose of evaluating possible dates for the 2012 California Spring Trials. After reviewing many different scenarios, as well as the dates selected for the European Spring Trials, the official dates that were chosen for the 2012 California Spring Trials are March 23 to March 31.
The annual California Spring Trials planning meeting will take place during OFA Short Course on July 10 in Room D242 of the Columbus Convention Center. The meeting will begin at 5:15 PM. Additional details about the meeting will be announced in mid-June.
Currently, organizers are proposing a “South to North” visitor flow, and it was proposed that operations in the far South be open March 23 to March 27. Operations in the central portion of state would be open March 25 to March 29, and facilities in the northern portion would be open March 27th to March 31.
The committee said this sequence of open days “would lessen the financial burden borne by the exhibitors, and would make the entire trip more efficient.”
According to the committee, this scenario is suggested and will be a topic of discussion at the July meeting.
