Are You Ready? By Tim Hodson

The first day of Spring is just a couple of days away.

Are you ready?

California Spring Trials is just a couple of weeks away.

Are you ready?

While the weather experts aren’t predicting very spring-like conditions this week for much of the country, the calendar still says Spring starts on Wednesday. For many consumers, March 20 has a psychological effect that causes Spring Fever and multiple trips to the garden center. Hopefully, that is the case in the coming days and weeks.

And California Spring Trials begins on April 6.

Before you know it, breeders from around the world will be showcasing their latest genetics and product offerings that we can expect to see on the market in 2014.

Jasmina Dolce has been providing some sneak peeks of this year’s new introductions in GPN’s Culture Connection e-newsletter. You can check out some of these sneak peeks from Jasmina by clicking here. If you aren’t receiving the Culture Connection e-newsletter, click here to subscribe.

If you are planning on attending Spring Trials, be sure to bookmark www.CaliforniaSpringTrials.com. If you are not planning on attending Spring Trials, be sure to bookmark www.CaliforniaSpringTrials.com.

For those of you making the trip out west, on www.CaliforniaSpringTrials.com you’ll find GPN’s California Spring Trials Companion with all of the maps and contact info that you’ll need while you are on the road.

For those of you who can’t attend, we will be your eyes and ears at Spring Trials as we make our way up the California coast. We will be posting photos and blogging throughout Spring Trials week. We also will be providing updates on our Facebook and Twitter pages.

And if you want to take a walk down memory lane before this year’s event, click here to check out our photos from last year’s trials.

If you are attending Spring Trials this year be sure to make your appointments now. OFA has created a centralized reservation system to help you out.

Are you ready for Spring and Spring Trials? We are!
