Half Way Home By Tim Hodson

It’s Day 3 and the half way point of our journey at 2013 California Spring Trials.

We started out on Saturday morning at Plug Connection in Vista and then made our way northward.

Yesterday we began in Santa Barbara visiting with Skagit Gardens then it was off to Oxnard to visit all of the different companies exhibiting at GroLink. We capped off the day in Santa Paula with the Agribio companies and Greenfuse.

Today we will start out at Ball Horticultural Co., then on to Seminis before heading to Lompoc to see Floranova.

Tomorrow takes us to San Luis Obispo to visit Dummen, then to Salinas to check out American Takii and Sakata.

On Wednesday we begin in Moss Landing at Golden State Bulb Growers, then it’s on to San Juan Bautista and the companies at Speedling followed by a visit to Syngenta Flowers and Danziger in Gilroy.

We end our week on Thursday at Proven Winners, Benary and Pacific Plug & Liner. Friday we head home – whew!

Have you seen the photos we have been posting in our photo gallery on www.CaliforniaSpringTrials.com yet? Are you following our tweets on Twitter?

Don’t forget, Jasmina Dolce will be providing more insight into many of the things we are seeing in the Spring Trials editions of the Culture Connection e-newsletter this week.

And, of course we will have expanded coverage in upcoming issues of GPN.

Time to hit the road – again!
