Going to the Show!
It’s almost here, are you ready?
This weekend it will be SHOWTIME as the 85th edition of OFA Short Course kicks off in Columbus, Ohio.
Over the next couple of days, everyone at GPN and Lawn & Garden Retailer will be scurrying around the office taking care of last minute details, finalizing our appointment schedule, and making sure we don’t forget anything before we head to the airport and the largest horticulture industry event in North America.
If you are going to OFA Short Course, get ready to rock! From the outstanding educational programs to a trade show floor bursting with color and buzzing with activity, it is going to be a jam-packed couple of days!
One of the events that I am really looking forward to is BASF’s media charity game of Grower’s Pyramid. Next Monday afternoon at 3 p.m., stop by booth #1759 to watch Jasmina Dolce and I as we play a $20,000 Pyramid-like game for charity with representatives from all of the industry trade magazines. Each publication will be “competing” to win money for the charities of their choice. Like last year, Jasmina and I will again be playing for the Jack Williams Scholarship Fund.

And again, I just wanted to remind you about the free Mix ‘N Mingle session with GPN’s 40 Under 40 that will take place on Sunday, from 10:45 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. in Ballroom 2 in the convention center.
