Thanks Mother Nature By Tim Hodson

Once again, Mother Nature is managing to drive everyone crazy – and it is not even spring!!!

First we had last week’s devastating tornadoes in the Midwest, then an arctic blast pummeled the Southwest this weekend and now a nasty storm is supposed to work its way up from the South and is headed for the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast just in time for Thanksgiving.

The storm could wreak havoc on holiday travel plans and even impact Black Friday sales receipts.

Winter is inevitable. The hard part is predicting exactly when it will hit and how bad it will be. Much like springtime, this is the time of year when we have a love/hate relationship with the weather forecasters – and it looks like this week they won’t be getting too much love.

But you really can’t do much about Mother Nature except be as prepared as possible. So I have to ask, are you and your greenhouses ready for the winter? Drop me a line at thodson@greatamericanpublish.com and let me know how you are preparing for winter.

And no matter what Mother Nature decides to do this week, have a safe and happy Thanksgiving from everyone at GPN.
