Meet the Class of 2014 By Tim Hodson

Have you seen the May issue of GPN yet?

Have you turned to page 12 in the issue yet?

Once you get your issue and you turn to page 12, then I’d like you to meet the Class of 2014 of GPN’s 40 Under 40!

These 23 men and 17 women hold the keys to the future of our industry. They are in the driver’s seat; they are buckled in and ready to shift this industry into overdrive.

If you haven’t received your May issue yet and you would like to see who made this year’s list, just click on the magazine cover above to access the digi-mag version of this month’s issue.

You can also read about the Class of 2014 on GPN’s 40 Under 40 page on www.gpnmag.com.

And if you are headed to Cultivate’14 (formerly OFA Short Course) in Columbus, Ohio, in July, you’ll have an opportunity to meet many of this year’s class members in person. There will be a special Mix ‘n Mingle session on July 14, at 10:45 a.m. in Terrace Ballroom 5 in the Columbus Convention Center.

You can learn more about this session and register to attend Cultivate’14 by going to www.cultivate14.org.

Looking for This Year’s Hero

Don’t forget, we are still looking for our 2014 Hort Hero who will be featured in the September issue of GPN.

If you know someone who really has made a difference in the horticulture industry over the years and continues to push the envelope, then we want to know more about him or her.

Drop me a line at thodson@greatamericanpublish.com and tell us why you think that person should be our 2014 Hort Hero. The deadline for nominations is May 30, 2014
