Deadlines Near and Far
Sometimes it seems like our jobs are made up of nothing but schedules and deadlines. I feel like every time I turn around I am staring at another impending due date.
Well, it’s my turn to remind you about a couple of deadlines. One of them is today, while another one is actually getting pushed back a few days imagine that.
Today is the early bird deadline to sign up for GPN’s Plant Health Management conference in Springfield, Massachusetts. The conference will take place Oct. 27, at the Springfield Marriott.
You can still sign up for the conference after today, but if you’d like to save a few $$ and learn about growing healthy and profitable plants, today’s the day to sign up. Conference attendees also will be able to earn pesticide recertification credits and visit with some of the industry’s leading suppliers.

Intern of the Year Deadline Extended
I also wanted to let you know that we have extended the deadline for applications for the 2016 GPN/Nexus Intern of the Year scholarship by one week.
The new deadline for students to apply is now Wednesday, Oct. 28.
