Nomination Deadline for GPN’s 40 Under 40 is Almost Here By Tim Hodson

The deadline to nominate someone for GPN’s 40 Under 40 Class of 2017 is only two weeks away (Jan. 23).

That means you only have 14 more days to let us know about a young, rising superstar in the horticulture industry.

If you haven’t nominated someone yet, what are you waiting for? Today would be a great day to let us know who you think belongs in the Class of 2017. Here’s the link to the nomination form.

We are looking for those men and women in our industry who are under the age of 40 and really making things happen and have a positive impact on everything they do. If you know someone like that, then you should probably nominate that individual.

We want to tell the rest of the industry about those people who are making a difference in their professional lives as well as their personal lives … and will continue to do so for many years to come.

Anyone in the horticulture business can be nominated — as long as they are under the age of 40 on Jan. 31, 2017. No matter what their role in the industry is — growers, breeders, garden center operators, landscapers, researchers, academics, marketers/communicators, scientists or some other job title — we want to hear from you about who these people are and what they are doing.

Individuals nominated in previous years, but who did not make the final 40, can be nominated again for this year’s class.

The Class of 2017 will be featured in the May issue of GPN.

Don’t delay, nominate today — the deadline is Jan. 23.

If you have any questions about the nomination process, feel free to contact me at thodson@greatamericanpublish.com.
