AFE Enhances WebsiteSource: AFE

Staying informed of The American Floral Endowment’s (AFE) latest scientific research endeavors just got easier. The Endowment has updated and improved its website with information on all current and previously funded projects as well as an expanded reporting section. The website now includes recently published articles from researchers whose projects are supported by AFE and provides links to articles where AFE is cited in industry publications.

AFE’s Production and Post-Harvest Scientific Research Program has the most comprehensive research proposal review process in the industry. A four-step review process ensures that projects funded by AFE are relevant to the floriculture industry, carry the highest priority, are conducted by the leading scientists in their field, are fiscally responsible and meet or exceed AFE’s expectations, according to the Endowment.

Internationally recognized researcher Dr .Gus De Hertogh, the AFE research coordinator and Professor Emeritus from North Carolina State University, oversees the entire process.
