The Field & Covered Production Tour stops include :
–Bailey Nurseries, Newport, Minnesota
–Bachmans Nursery Wholesale Center , Farmington, Minnesota
–Gertens Greenhouses & Garden Center , Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota
–Minnesota Landscape Arboretum , Chaska, Minnesota
Participants can attend the classroom portion of the event, which provides information on:
-Neonicotinoids and pollinator health
-Rack loads versus floor/deck stack loads
-Lighting, CO2 and temperature
-Community gravel beds to diversify urban forests
-An update on research projects affecting the horticulture industry
