Syngenta Names Lawn and Landscape Market Manager
Syngenta recently named Dan Steltz market manager for lawn and landscape; he will be responsible for the marketing programs and initiatives for the company’s lawn care, ornamental production and vegetation management customer groups. Steltz joined Syngenta in 2004 as a planning and forecasting manager and was most recently market manager for vegetation management and specialty.

Subdue MAXX Approved for Downy Mildew and Phytophthora
Subdue MAXX fungicide from Syngenta has been given updated label approval by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for foliar application to help prevent and control downy mildew and Phytophthora. Subdue MAXX can now be applied as either a soil drench or foliar spray. It is now also labeled for the prevention and control of Phytophthora ramorum, also known as Sudden Oak Death.
