Looking for #18 By Tim Hodson

This January, GPN and Nexus Greenhouse Corp. will once again be recognizing our Intern of the Year.

This is the 18th year that we will be honoring an exceptional college student who has participated in a horticulture-related internship program.

Over the past 17 years, we have gotten to know some pretty amazing young horticulturists. We’ve learned about their internship experiences and how it has made an impact on their future career goals.

To be considered for the 2017 scholarship, the student must meet these

    2016-2017;
  • Must be working on an undergraduate degree in horticulture/floriculture; and
  • Have completed a greenhouse-related internship in 2016.

To apply for the 2017 GPN/Nexus Intern of the Year Scholarship the student needs to:

    university he/she attends;
  • Secure a letter of recommendation on university letterhead from the applicant’s
    academic advisor; and

If you know a college student who meets these criteria and might be interested in this scholarship, then we want to know about that student.
