The Poppelmann group was founded in 1949 and is 100 percent family owned. The group is headquartered in Germany and employs more than 1,400 people worldwide. Poppelmann operates in four divisions and works among others within the automotive and machine-building industry, as well as the food, pharmaceutical and medical industry. Poppelmann’s TEKU division comprises a large range of horticultural containers, trays, hanging baskets and more that have sold in the USA since 2000. Poppelmann Plastics USA LLC operates from a 27.4 acre multi-operational complex in Claremont, NC.
