The Dallas Arboretum has introduced its new plant trials website at www.dallasplanttrials.org.
The new website contains such useful information as a plant and photo library with complete historical information; articles published by the staff; current news and events; and a historical listing of the Arboretum’s FlameProof & Arboretum Approved Winners.
The Trial Gardens at the Dallas Arboretum were created to help expand the Arboretum’s research efforts and providing information to the public. The main focus of the plant testing program is to grow and evaluate many different plants in the drastic climate of the Metroplex and North Central Texas and develop new plant selections.
The Dallas Arboretum is located at 8525 Garland Road in Dallas.
