Date Set for 2014 Poinsettias of Pennsylvania TrialsSource: Dan Schantz Farms

The 2014 Poinsettias of Pennsylvania Trials will take place Nov. 13, at the Dan Schantz Farm and Greenhouses in Zionsville, Pennsylvania.

The trial will feature over 130 varieties of poinsettia cultivars. These cultivars will include new introductions as well as returning favorites that continue to catch the eyes of consumers during the Christmas buying season.

Speakers this year will include Dave Vollmer who is currently the product and technical manager for Selecta North America and Dr. Jim Faust who is an associate professor at Clemson University whose research interests include greenhouse crop physiology and light regulation of plant growth.

Other speakers will be announced as they are confirmed and will be posted on the official website (http://www.poinsettiatrial.com ) for the trial.

Registration forms are available on the website for those who wish to attend and a limited number of sponsorship slots for the event are still open.
