Deadline Approaching for Sustainable Standard Committee

March 26, 2008 - 06:50

If you’re interested in being part of the voting committee to create a national sustainability standard, your application deadline is approaching. Your last opportunity to submit an application to the Leonardo Academy, which is overseeing the selection process, is April 7. All applicants will be notified of their status by April 11.

The effort to create a national sustainability standard began last spring, when Scientific Certification Systems (SCS) submitted a draft to the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) of the standard. There were several teleconferences earlier this year to discuss the draft standard, and it is set for completion in 2010.

For more information on how to participate in this important process, visit Leonardo Academy’s website.
