Florida Grower Premiers On QVC

Last Friday, Marcal Growers and Constructors, Inc. in Kissimmee, FL debuted its Better Blooming Orchids line on the QVC shopping channel. The QVC broadcast of Better Blooming Orchids was scheduled to take place during the ‘Garden Party with Carolyn’ segment between 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Eastern time.

Calvin and Martha Anderson, of Kissimmee, FL started in the nursery business in 1977 and their operation has grown to cover ten acres. Up until now, they have sold primarily at the wholesale commercial level. While the process for potential vendors to realize an opportunity to be on QVC typically is much longer, Better Blooming was able to achieve their new vendor status within months.
