Lawn & Garden Retailer’s free 30-minute webinar on “Enchanting with MIniature Gardening” is now available online.

The presentation will cover the differences between miniature gardening and fairy gardening with examples of each type. These will be further broken down by “woodland miniature garden,” “formal miniature garden” and “whimsical fairy garden” with step-by-step design instructions for your garden center.

Tricia will also talk about ways your garden center can get customers involved in miniature gardening and fairy gardening.

Millstone Market & Nursery has had success with workshops, parties and social media to drive customers of all ages into its store.

Tricia has been in the business for more than 25 years. She began out of her garage by hand-finishing ornamental cast-stone containers. From there, she started assisting her customers with all types of planting designs, landscapes and hardscapes.

More than seven years ago, Tricia and her brother, Skip Shropshire, purchased Millstone, which boasts the largest selection of plants in the Memphis area year-round. Tricia is also the buyer for the gift shop, which concentrates on home and garden accessories and containers, antique furniture and decor.
