‘Absolutely Amethyst’ is easy to grow, blooms in late April to May and is hardy to Zone 4. With dark-green foliage and lavender buds, it reaches 10-12 inches at maturity. It prefers full sun and attracts hummingbirds. For 2011, this variety will be a limited release due to availability.
