…the Future of the Horticulture Industry.

Last week, the May issue of GPN hit the streets with our inaugural 40 Under 40 list.

As I mentioned in the issue, looking at the Class of 2012 is kind of like taking a peek into the horticulture industry’s future.

These 40 men and women will, and already are, helping determine where our industry is headed.

They were nominated by their peers for their accomplishments both in and out of the greenhouse. They are the ones making things happen today while setting the standard for the future.

These are 40 people you need to now!

And if you think you know someone that might belong in our 40 Under 40 Class of 2013, we want to know about them. Be on the lookout for our call for nominations later this fall for next year’s crop of candidates.

Have You See It Yet?

Have you tuned in to Hort TV yet this month?

Be sure to check it out to catch up on the trends that Jasmina and I saw during our trip to California Spring Trials this year, along with the informational videos that were shot at many of the breeder locations.

Also, did you know we have posted nearly 120 photos from 2012 Spring Trials on our Flickr page on Be sure to check them out too!

P.S. Happy day after Mother’s Day! I hope you had a personally and professionally rewarding weekend.
