Athena Mudas, the unrooted cutting division of GroLink, has been named company of the year by the Bank of Brazil. As part of this distinction, the Bank of Brazil is running a one minute commercial featuring Athena during the peak hours of Brazilian prime time television. Athena supplies unrooted cuttings to the United States and Canada. The company was chosen by the Bank of Brazil because of its success as an exporter to the United States, Europe and Asia.

The commercial features a 30 second interview of Lucilene Anatriello, director of Athena Mudas in Brazil and a 30 second interview with Frank de Greef, CEO of GroLink. Both Athena and GroLink are pleased with the recognition as a company and also for the recognition of horticulture as a commercially important industry.
