MasterTag Appoints Higgins as New PresidentSource: MasterTag

MasterTag has announced the appointment of Andy Higgins as president, effective January 20, 2015.

Higgins brings more than 25 years of industry experience to his new role, having served as CEO and president of Ecke Ranch. Rick Hughes remains the owner and CEO. He will continue in his responsibility of leading MasterTag, fulfilling his vision for the company and its future growth.

“We welcome Andy with his wealth of leadership talent, industry knowledge, and a customer’s perspective,” said Rick Hughes. “We believe Andy will help excel MasterTag to our collective vision for the industry’s future. And I plan to be just as involved as I am today in working with Andy to lead our organization.”

Higgins directed the operations, assuming many responsibilities including sales, distribution, production, marketing and product development as well as long range strategic planning, all contributing to the significant growth and expansion of Ecke Ranch and its market.

Higgins has a BS in Horticulture from Cal Poly State University and an MBA from UCLA.
