AAS Launches Landscape Design ContestSource: All-America Selections

All-America Selections, an independent plant trialing and award program, has announced there will be 22 AAS Display Gardens participating in the first-ever AAS Landscape Design Contest.

All-America Selections, an independent plant trialing and award program, has announced there will be 22 AAS Display Gardens participating in the first-ever AAS Landscape Design Contest.

By participating, these gardens will help All-America Selections celebrate their 80th anniversary by using past and present AAS Winners (both flowers and vegetables if desired) in a creative landscape design located within their gardens.

The contest criteria requires that each display have a minimum of 50 percent of the total landscaped area be AAS Winners and labeled with the variety name and the AAS logo, if possible.

There are three contest categories, based on garden attendance:

Category I: fewer than 10,000 visitors per year

Category II: 10,001 – 100,000 visitors per year

Category III: Over 100,000 visitors per year.
