AmericanHort Celebrates Earth DaySource: AmericanHort

AmericanHort’s staff celebrated Earth Day 2015 by installing two honeybee hives in the office landscape and planting a tri-color beech purchased from a local independent garden center. The honeybee hives were from the personal hives of David Blankenship, a professional beekeeper who serves as the AmericanHort Exhibit & Sponsorship sales representative. A pollinator garden will be incorporated into the landscape when the weather gets warmer. The company hopes the beech will inspire nearby offices by showing that a healthy landscape equals a healthy work environment. For more information, visit www.americanhort.org.
