Ball Seed, Paul Ecke Ranch Announce Mum Partnership

Last week, Ball Seed Company and Paul Ecke Ranch announced a new partnership that will bring production of the Ball chrysanthemum exclusive line of garden mum varieties to the Ecke facility in Encinitas, Calif. The new production operation at Ecke Ranch will supplement the current production facility of Milgro Newcastle, Inc. (Newcastle, Utah), which will continue to be the exclusive, year-round supplier of Ball pot, cut and garden mums. This will allow Ball Seed to meet the growing demand for Ball garden mum varieties during the peak shipping season and provide the highest-quality products to its chrysanthemum customers.

The Ball chrysanthemum program includes a complete line of garden, pot and cut mum varieties available to growers in North America exclusively through Ball Seed. Unrooted cutting production of Ball garden mum varieties at Ecke Ranch will be fully operational in time for the spring 2007 shipping season. For more information go to www.ballseed.com.
