Northwest Horticulture Releases its New Big Green Book

Brian Krug joins New Hampshire Extension

Brian Krug has taken on the Greenhouse/Floriculture Extension position at the University of New Hampshire. An Iowa native, Brian recently earned his doctorate at NC State. He has worked on projects dealing with plant nutrition and plant growth regulators with Brian Whipker and has had a variety of work experience including Ball Horticulture in Holland.

Besides working with the state’s floriculture industry, Brian has already written numerous popular press and scientific articles including one for OFA on MPS certification as it relates to US growers. He will focus his extension and applied research efforts on the issues of sustainability and how they impact New Hampshire and U.S. growers, PGRs, and plant nutrition. Brian will also work cooperatively with other researchers to impact growers regionally and nationally.

White Paper on Green Roof Performance Now Available
