Heuchera ‘Midnight Rose’ Earns UK Exhibition Award

Terra Nova Nurseries’ heuchera ‘Midnight Rose’ was recognized as “Best New Plant” at the 2008 Woking Nursery Exhibition in England this July. The event is one of several major nursery trade shows held in the United Kingdom.

According to a recent press release, Terra Nova shares the award with Aline-Fairweather Nursery, an English company with whom they have partnered to introduce new varieties of perennials in Britain.

“We are thrilled to receive this award,” said Dan Heims, co-owner and president of Terra Nova Nurseries. “We have worked closely with Aline-Fairweather Nursery over the last several years to assemble a robust selection of some 50-plus heucheras and other plants for English gardens. We appreciate the recognition of our work and that of our colleagues.”
