Heath Lowery Joins Valent as Territory Manager
Valent Professional Products announced that Heath Lowery has joined the company as territory manager in the South Central region. Lowery will be responsible for managing the company’s turf and ornamental product lines and distribution channels in six states: Arkansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Oklahoma, New Mexico and Texas.
A native of Houston, Lowery spent the the past three years as a propagator for Greenleaf Nursery Co. in its Texas division.
“Heath is experienced with Valent’s product line because he’s used our products, and he knows the challenges customers face on a daily basis because he’s been there and dealt with those challenges himself,” said John Johnson, national sales manager for Valent.

Chuck Sierke Joins Deforche of Belgium
Chuck Sierke has been selected to represent Deforche of Belgium in the United States. Sierke has been in the greenhouse business for more than 20 years and is a third generation greenhouse manufacturer. His grandfather, originally from Bremen, Germany, and his father founded Gothic Arch Greenhouses. He worked with the company after college and has held regional and national sales positions with several leading greenhouse companies.
“I look forward to offering the American garden center owners and nurserymen a world-class product that they will be very proud to own,” said Sierke. “With custom designed garden centers to open-roof production and Venlo greenhouses, Deforche can offer a full line of high-end facilities.”
