BFG Supply Acquired by Tricor Pacific Capital

BFG Supply Co., a leading full-line horticultural distributor serving customers in the Great Lakes, Midwest and Great Plains regions in the United States, bas been acquired by Tricor Pacific Capital, Inc., a Vancouver private equity firm with offices in Vancouver, B.C. and Lake Forest, Ill. Headquartered in Burton, Ohio, BFG operates a total of 14 service centers providing local delivery routes and servicing the needs of customers in 17 states.

New Marketing Leader, District Sales Manager at Dow AgroSciences

Dow AgroSciences has named Jason Nelson to the position of Portfolio Marketing Leader for the turf and ornamental business division.

In his new role, Nelson will be responsible for managing the portfolio strategies for all herbicides, insecticides and fungicides in the turf and ornamental business segment. In addition, he will oversee the account management team and work closely with distributors and formulators to develop new opportunities and technologies for the market.

Lee Conway was named district sales manager responsible for overseeing the Eastern turf and ornamental sales district. He has been with Dow AgroSciences since 1996 and has held many positions with the company, including roles in sales, marketing and research.
