Ball Horticultural Co. has released its 2013 Sustainability Report: “Longevity.” It is the second sustainability report published by Ball in the past five years and features the company’s worldwide efforts to adhere to its corporate objective: Grow A Green Future.

The report is only available as an online document and is divided into three sections: Sustainable Buildings; Supply Chain: and Social and Environmental Stewardship.

The 30-page report highlights the company’s vision for a long and healthy future. It also features a closer look at two brand-new facilities: the Las Limas farm in Nicaragua, and the Ball Premier Lab, which were designed from the ground up to be efficient and more sustainable.

“Our latest sustainability report celebrates the efforts of Ball companies, its facilities, suppliers and customers,” says Bill Doeckel, general manager of Ball Innovations. “Through video, photography and vibrant storytelling, Longevity offers a snapshot of our accomplishments, as well as our commitments to promote sustainable practices as we color the world.”
