Cannabis Conference Names Keynotes Speaker
Lori Ajax, the Chief of the Bureau of Cannabis Control in California, has been named the keynote speaker of the California Cannabis Business Conference, taking place in Anaheim, California, Sept. 21-22, 2017.
The conference is produced by the California Cannabis Industry Association and the National Cannabis Industry Association.
In February 2016, Gov. Jerry Brown appointed Ajax as bureau chief to oversee the implementation and administration of California’s seed-to-sale regulations on medical cannabis. Prior to her appointment, Ajax served as Chief Deputy Director at the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control, after spending 22 years working her way up the ranks and 10 years in private industry prior to joining state government.
As keynote speaker, she is expected to discuss her outlook on the future of California’s cannabis market, in addition to providing her insights on what business owners can expect as they prepare for success in 2018.
