Carolina Nursery Property Changes Ownership
With no competing bids, the title to the Carolina Nurseries property returned to the lender on Friday at a county foreclosure auction.
No competing bids were submitted to top the $12 million Carolina Nurseries owed to lender ZZ Acquisitions LLC, reports The Post and Courier.
The lender is an affiliate of Charleston-based InterTech Group Inc. An InterTech representative said, “The company is in discussions with undisclosed parties about keeping a nursery operating on the 686-acre property. It also is looking at selling the remaining perishable inventory of plants.”
Carolina Nurseries president J. Guy had no comment after the auction other than, “We’re closed.”
