Dallas Arboretum to Host Plant Trials Field DaySource: Dallas Arboretum

The Dallas Arboretum Plant Field Trials Day will take place June 26. Each year, the Arboretum tests numerous annuals, sub-tropicals, bulbs, herbaceous perennials and woody plants to determine the best plants for the unique climate of North Texas.

The Dallas Arboretum tests numerous annuals, sub-tropicals, bulbs, herbaceous perennials and woody plants to determine the best plants for the unique climate of North Texas. The Arboretum with reveal its recommended plants and award winners for the next growing season at Plant Trials Field Day. The event takes place June 26, 2013 and is available to all suppliers, producers, artchitects, landscapers, media, municipalities and sponsors in the industry. The day includes presentations by Jimmy Turner, senior director of gardens at Dallas Arboretum, and Jenny Wegley, senior manager of trials at Dallas Arboretum as well as a dinner, trade show and tour of the trial gardens.
