Emerald Coast Growers has added 25,344 square feet at their Milton, Florida, facility. The new construction will primarily be used for ornamental grass production but allows flexibility for other varieties.
The new house, a gutter-connected Atlas, has the capacity to hold 13,200 flats and is designed with a natural venting style.
It features double-inflated poly tops with shade cloth and roll-up side walls, HPS lighting, Schaefer HAF fans, Netafim irrigation, Phytotronics mist control systems and Hired Hand heaters.
