Fire Hits Greenhouses at Pleasant View GardensSource: GPN reporting

Early last Thursday morning, a two-alarm fire broke out in the greenhouses at Pleasant View Gardens in Loudon, N.H.

Pleasant View Gardens’ Carol Huntington told GPN that the local fire departments were quick to respond and contain the fire. She said there was minimal damage to crops at Pleasant View because the affected greenhouses were in one of the last ranges to be utilized for the spring season. She said plant “supply will not be a problem” for their customers this spring.

In spite of the damage, Huntington said, the fire created “an opportunity for us to rebuild and be even better.”

Pleasant View Gardens is one of the partner companies of Proven Winners along with EuroAmerican Propagators in Bonsall, Calif., and Four Star Greenhouse in Carleton, Mich.
