Goldsmith to Market Kieft ColorGrass LineSource: Goldsmith Seeds

Goldsmith Seeds announced last week that, in a quest to offer the best and widest range of products possible, it would enter a marketing partnership with Kieft-Pro-Seeds.

Throughout North America, Goldsmith will now market and support with technical expertise the ColorGrass product line bred by Kieft. Colorgrass is a well-balanced collection of 14 highly decorative ornamental grasses, all propagated from seed. They can be produced as a series, all in one climate. The grasses are easy to sow and germinate, thanks to the high seed quality of Kieft’s exclusive TunedSeeds, and the product is very cost-effective compared to vegetative crops. Growers can order ColorGrass through their preferred broker.

“It’s very exciting to represent the ColorGrass collection in North America,” says Ron Garofalo, Goldsmith’s director of sales and marketing. “We’re looking forward to offering our customers marketing ideas and technical expertise on a collection of grasses that perfectly complements Goldsmith’s wide range of genetics.”

Jeff McGrew, Kieft-Pro-Seeds’ U.S. representative, says the partnership “makes a lot of sense for both of us, and we’re looking forward to a long and productive relationship.”
