Green Leaf Plants Releases 2009-2010 Catalog
The 2009-2010 Green Leaf Plants (formerly Yoder Green Leaf) perennial product catalog is available now, featuring more than 600 perennials, grasses and herbs. It also features many new product introductions.
There are several user-friendly tools to help customers navigate the catalog and make the most of their purchases:
- VR and VB: Most people know that vernalization is required for some perennials and beneficial for others — but which ones? Green Leaf distilled data from years of university research and their own ongoing trials. Just look for the VR or VB codes in the variety descriptions.
- Liner sales window: The new catalog fine tunes this feature, which indicates when it’s best to receive liners based on their natural response and/or plant vigor. Unrooted cuttings (URCs) of vegetatively propagated items are available beyond this window, often all year round.
- Technical guides: Nearly 200 individual recipes with detailed growing data for key crops are at customers’ fingertips at Green Leaf’s website
- Useful lists: Back by popular demand, this feature groups perennials by uses and characteristics, from fragrance to cut-flower value to usefulness on green roofs and xeric landscaping.
