Greenheart Farms is working with Chase Agricultural Consulting to create a manual that will serve as a resource tool for Greenheart’s customers.

The Ultimate Management Practices for Roses will be the first in a series of guides for the horticultural industry.

Phytosanitation recommendations, photo identification cards of common rose diseases and pests, as well as biological and chemical recommendations are just a few of the useful tools that Chase Agricultural Consulting will be creating for Greenheart’s customers.

The Ultimate Management Practices for Roses also will be launched as a mobile app. later this year.

“We wanted to develop a tool that takes the guesswork out of growing. We hope that this inspires our customers to take this information and create their own recipe for success,” says Bill DeVor, general manager and COO of Greenheart Farms.

Trials and evaluations will be ongoing at Greenheart. Therefore, this manual will be updated as new technology develops or as new disease or pest problems arise.

“The chance to help develop a truly customized strategy for rose production with an industry leader like Greenheart Farms, is exciting and we are looking forward to the first Ultimate Management Practice guide,” says Ann Chase, plant pathologist for Chase Agricultural Consulting, LLC.
