Greenstreet Growers Inc. recently acquired Eclectic Nature Gift and Garden Center in Alexandria, Va., making it their third local garden center. This comes two years after the Greenstreet family purchased The Apple House in Alexandria.

Located in the middle of the neighborhood of Del Ray, Eclectic Nature Gift and Garden center features a selection of annuals, perennials and whimsical garden art. The shop has been family-owned and a community favorite for more than 10 years. The location will be renamed Greenstreet Gardens of Del Ray, but will retain the same character it has maintained since it opened.

“We fell in love with the location for all the same reasons that the locals love shopping there,” said Ray Greenstreet, owner of Greenstreet Growers Inc. “We know that it’s part of the fabric of the neighborhood and we have no intention of changing that. But with our location just down the road, we will have the ability to deliver a much wider selection of fresh annuals, perennials and seasonal flowers daily.”

Greenstreet Gardens of Del Ray will offer a large selection of plants that are locally grown by Greenstreet Growers farm in Lothian, Md. The store will also be introducing a variety of houseplants and gardening solutions such as organic gardening supplies, GMO-free seeds, and innovative gardening tools. Events, seminars and workshops are also being planned for later in the summer.
