Hortimax to Reorganize, InvestSource: Hortimax

The Ridder Group has announced plans to reorganize and invest in the Hortimax Group. Ridder acquired Hortimax last October.The Ridder Group in Pijnacker, The Netherlands, has announced plans to reorganize and invest in the Hortimax Group. Ridder acquired Hortimax last October.

As a result of the reorganization, 15 positions (11 in the Netherlands and four in Belgium) will be eliminated and two overseas sales offices will be either closed or sold.

According to Albert ‘t Hart, managing director at Hortimax, the moves were made in reaction to sluggish sales in the marketplace. ‘t Hart said the company “is now focused on enhancing our international position …(and the company will) invest not only in product development and systems integration, but also in dealer support and after sales support.”
