GPN/Nexus Intern Scholarship Deadline NearsSource: GPN and Nexus Corp.

There is still time to get your applications in for the 10th annual GPN/Nexus Intern Scholarship. The deadline is Oct. 31, 2008.

The GPN and Nexus Corp. scholarship recognizes a college student who is studying horticulture and has successfully completed a greenhouse internship.

The 10th annual GPN/Nexus intern Scholarship winner will receive:

A check for $3,000; his or her photo on the cover of GPN; an article about him or her in the January 2009 issue of GPN; an expense-paid trip to 2009 OFA Short Course; and a Short Course registration, compliments of OFA

To be considered for this scholarship, the student must meet the following criteria:

• Be enrolled in a four-year accredited university during the 2007-2008 and 2008-2009 academic years
• Be working on a floriculture-related undergraduate degree
• Have completed a greenhouse internship in 2008
