Independent Plant Breeders Conference to Meet in November
The Independent Plant Breeders Conference will take place Nov. 1 to 4, at the downtown Embassy Suites in Portland, Ore.
The conference will feature two days of lectures focused on helping the independent plant breeder succeed in the commercial world. There will also be a day-long tour visiting Terra Nova Nurseries, the Portland Japanese Garden, Cistus Nursery, and the Lan Su Chinese Garden.
General sessions include basics of breeding and advanced breeding techniques, marketing trends and partnerships, and the opportunity to interact with other plant breeders as well as industry new product representatives and genetics experts from around the United States and Europe.
