McGregor Expands Supplier NetworkSource: McGregor Plant Sales

Effective July 1, 2011, McGregor Plant Sales will begin offering its products through a new and expanded supplier network

Effective July 1, 2011, McGregor Plant Sales will no longer carry Florexpo unrooted cuttings as part of its program and will instead offer product through a new and expanded supplier network.

Over the course of the past 18 months, McGregor has been proactive in sourcing alternatives and establishing partnerships with other suppliers, said Cathy McClintock, president of McGregor. They have also entered into an agreement that will allow McGregor to hold private stock at Danziger’s Kenya location.

“Almost all of the breeders we’ve worked with in the past are very supportive of us and have already agreed to let us continue to offer their varieties through our network,” said McClintock. She also pointed out that the Kenya facility will be in production in about eight weeks, therefore being ready before the primary start of the season.
