Millstadt Announces Independent Rooting ProgramSource: Millstadt Young Plants

Millstadt Young Plants has announced a change to how they will bring young plants to the market.

Millstadt Young Plants announced a change to how the company will bring young plants to the market.

For the past 13 years the company has operated as a contracted rooting station with Fischer USA/Syngenta Flowers. Beginning with the 2014-2015 season Millstadt Young Plants will operate as an independent root and sell propagation facility.

For greenhouse grower customers, orders should still be placed through their preferred broker. Millstadt will be communicating program details and ordering logistics to each of their broker partners soon.

The company will be carrying all of the Syngenta genetics for the upcoming season and plan to extend their offering of some Selecta genetics to the assortment as well.

“We’re really excited about this change to our programs. We have enjoyed our partnership with Syngenta Flowers but feel that by working more independently we will be able to have more control over the assortment and availability that we offer to our customers,” said Amy Morris of Millstadt Young Plants. “Customers can look forward to working directly with us and receiving the same exceptional quality that they are used to receiving from our facility.”
