MNLA Announces Name ChangeSource: Maryland Nursery, Landscape and Greenhouse Association

The Maryland Nursery and Landscape Association (MNLA) announced it has become The Maryland Nursery, Landscape, and Greenhouse Association (MNLGA). The name change comes as a result of the dissolution of the former Maryland Greenhouse Growers Association. “The greenhouse association has collaborated with the Maryland Nursery and Landscape Association on events, education and industry issues and a myriad of other projects for the past 15 years or more,” said Vanessa Akehurst Finney, MNLGA executive director. “Inviting them into the renamed association is not only complimentary; it makes the Maryland Nursery, Landscape, and Greenhouse Association an even stronger industry voice than it was previously.” The 12th annual Chesapeake Green Horticultural Symposium will be held at the Maritime Institute in Linthicum, Maryland from Feb. 19-20. This event is a collaborative effort between MNLA and the Maryland Greenhouse Growers Association. MNLGA will announce an updated website and publications in the coming months.
