Plant Patent Firm Honored
Colorado-based intellectual property firm Cochran Freund & Young has achieved over 98.5 percent patent allowance rate in the life science sector of the United States Patent and Trademark Office (Tech Center 1600) in the span of one year.
The firm now ranks first among U.S. law firms with 100 or more patent applications in the life science sector, according to the company.
Cochran Freund & Young boasts a thriving biotechnology, plant, seed and agriculture practice, and is uniquely staffed to serve the Rocky Mountain region’s increasingly high-tech agriculture community, the company said in a press release.
Cochran Freund & Young has offices in Fort Collins, Denver and Boulder. The firm provides counseling, prosecution, licensing, and litigation services in technology, including engineering, electronics, chemistry, biochemistry, physics, computer hardware and software, agriculture, and mechanics.
