Plantpeddler Variety Day Scheduled for August 3
Plantpeddler's Variety Day will take place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Aug. 3, in Cresco, Iowa.
Plantpeddler’s Variety Day will take place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Aug. 3, in Cresco, Iowa. The theme for the day is “Testing the Best in the Midwest.”
More than 800 vegetative varieties from more than 20 domestic and international breeders will be on display during the event.
One of GPN’s regular contributors, Dr. Raymond Cloyd at Kansas State University, is scheduled to be the keynote speaker that day. His topic will be “The War on Thrips.”
There also will be presentations from Ecke Ranch, Suntory, OHP, Sakata, McHutchison, Hort Americas and Pace 49. A barbeque lunch also will be served.
