Proven Winners’ Container Design Guide Helps Inspire GrowersSource: Proven Winners

Proven Winners has unveiled its new Container Design Guide for Professional Growers, created as a way to kick-start creativity for spring 2009 container designs.

The colorful 48-page guide is scheduled to be released nationwide this month with the goal of inspiring gardeners with savvy designs and resources to help growers capitalize on the increasingly popular container gardening trend. The guide is loaded with 140 professionally designed “pot-scapes” categorized by color.

For customers seeking to create striking combinations using Proven Winners varieties, it serves as a comprehensive resource, providing ideas of how to use Proven Winners varieties by grouping them with similar plants that share specific qualities, such as vigor, water requirements and exposure, said Carol Huntington, marketing manager for Proven Winners’ partner company Pleasant View Gardens in Loudon, N.H.

“This tool is instrumental in guiding customers to make sound purchasing decisions when creating containers,” Huntington added.
