Q-Biotype Opinions Wanted
With the discussion of the Q-biotype whitefly continuing to evolve, researchers and industry leaders would like to survey growers on their perceptions and how they are managing the situation in their growing operations.
This week growers can participate in the Q 2006 Grower Perception Study (www.qbiotypewhitefly.com). It is an anonymous, online grower survey that is a collaboration of: The University of Florida-IFAS; OFA – an Association of Floriculture Professionals (OFA); Society of American Florists (SAF); American Nursery & Landscape Association (ANLA); Florida Nursery, Growers and Landscape Association (FNGLA); IR-4 Project – Ornamental Horticulture Program; and Valent Professional Products
Dr. Lance Osborne from the University of Florida will present the results of this study at the OFA Short Course Meeting in Columbus, Ohio.
To participate in the 15-question survey, go to www.qbiotypewhitefly.com.
